High Impact Results with Power, Purpose and Productivity Game Changers Membership Launch
No one tells you the little big details when launching a business or project. My business was not set up correctly, yet I attended every learning opportunity I could find.
I learned powerful opportunities for Start ups and Established Businesses, but I was not set up correctly to gain those opportunities.
Here it is years later. I learned that one of the organizations that was teaching opportunities was just as internally confused and frustrated themselves about the confusing steps it took for individuals including themselves to use. Love Note 1 – To Mothers of Every Age
Dear Moms,
This is your reminder that you are allowed—no, invited—to live in the present with hope and joy, knowing that the role you’ve played as a mother, through everything you've faced, has mattered deeply. You’ve done the best job possible with the heart, strength, and wisdom you had at each moment. That is enough.
Children grow up—and that is not loss, but victory. It means you’ve nurtured life that now stands on its own. And as they become adults building their own lives, they teach us anew how to love them. That evolving love is a sacred gift. Let them be who they decide to be and how they decide. Your know that saying, bring them up in the way they should go and when they become... you know the rest.
Give yourself the grace that your Creator so freely gives. Let go of guilt and regret—they are not yours to carry. Within you is a person beyond the title mom, and she is worthy, whole, and still becoming. Imagine if your child met you as a non related person- would they like you, friend you, respect you, or snub you? That is on them.
What's next? What great adventure do you plan to tackle? I am learning to cook. Really! It is fun and relaxing. It's ok Mothers, Mom, Ma, Mommie! YOU have a name. Imagine how long it was before your children knew that.
Define your life of purpose—today and for the future. You still get to dream, to experience joy, to shape your story. It’s not over. In so many beautiful ways, it’s just beginning again.

"When Dating Hurts" The breathtaking memoir about a dating violence murder. In June 2005, Kristin Mitchell was killed by her ex-boyfriend 20 days after her college graduation. Our Family was faced with a tough decision: concentrate on healing ourselves - or use our experience to help others who might face a similar situation one day. I copied that statement from Bills materials he put out for the world to learn of this unthinkable tragediy.
I personally felt that Bill did not breath the entire time of the interview but by grace we both made it through without crying. It was a simple chain of moments that lead up to meeting Bill and acquiring his time for this interview.
I agree every one who could make a difference should listen to give listeners a broader view of simple words people say that means-they are in a violent dangerous situation and just don't know to express it in it's full clarity.

Embrace your Super Power! Step 1- Start by Recognizing and leveraging your unique strengths, abilities, gifts and talents!! These innate talents and skills are the juice to empower you when facing challenges confidently and still make important decisions that align with your Vision!!
2) Start with a Self-Assessment and your goal setting plan of action. You are more than a job title. You are multi-dimensional wearing a lot of different hats personal and professional. There is a time for lanes and in your eyes you then prioritize them and put them on your calendar color coded by category and lane.
3) Time Management is your decision on what you will do when. That means sharing your calendar with family and business where it applies allows you to feel in control of your time and the things you plan to do and the things or time you have available for others.
4) Nurture your relationships. Remember to give as much as you take. Business or personal there must be boundaries or you may find unhealthy individuals with access to areas of your life they should not be in or taking you for granted. It is ok to protect your circles and your relationships.

Like-minded people gravitate to one another and you. My Faith goes before me so I trust in God for my discernment and of course use all the legal permissions that go beyond that person. TIME! Is now! (Not Someday Ya'll)
Angela (Angie) Gregory is a Norfolk, VA native and has lived in Hampton Roads all of her life, although she has traveled to various areas throughout the country, Angie, as she likes to be called, is a product of the Norfolk Public School System and she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and studied Business Administration at Norfolk State University. She’s the proud mother of two sons in Las Vegas, NV and a daughter and grandson in Hollywood, CA.
- Angie has worked with the VA State Welfare Department, the Federal Government and her last job with them was a supervisory position at the Naval Supply Center. Before NSC she worked at the Naval Air Station, GS position and was assigned an additional collateral duty as the Federal Women’s Program Coordinator whereas she was a voice for the women there. She has a lengthy sales background including becoming a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and she retired from the Virginian Pilot Newspaper as a Field Representative in 2020.
- Angie is currently serving in her church, New Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA as an Ordained Deacon and was recently elevated by God and her pastor, Cory G. Doxey to become Host of a new program, The Covenant Daily Bread whose mission is to engage listeners in conversation and discussion of the Bible and every day life’s challenges through prayer and scripture via telephone conference call.
The guitar is her favorite instrument and she took lessons years ago. Two years ago she learned to drive a three wheeler motorcycle and a few years ago she was a jazzercise student and believes in self care.

Bullying as defined from *Oxford Languages and Google is to seek harm, intimidate, or coerce (someone perceived as vulnerable). American Psychological Association found on Google shares that
✔️Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly cause another person injury or discomfort.
✔️Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words, or more subtle actions. This topic comes up very often after painful situations, events or tragic consequences of this behavior make the news.
✔️Too often it is hidden, unreported or unrecognized. Our guest has grown tremendously as a person and a woman in her quest to live a full life with no apologies for who she is and how she feels when she now speaks up for herself.
. As you listen to this candid interview (where I am not talking too much in response to how I relate to her story) we hope you are encouraged and made aware of how we can change the narrative when we get help, speak up and take a stand. When we did the interview part 1 while in Dallas, Texas,
✔️ I noticed how relieved and free our guest felt after sharing her story. She was lighter and happier and saying that felt good to share.
✔️The power of transparency and speaking up does help us heal and become aware that you are not alone. If strange behavior or unacceptable communications seem to overtake your input, then it must be looked at seriously or stopped. It is ok to say no!

Lonely is one of the side affects of being at home during Covid-19. Anne and I got to talking about aging, friendships and seeking women of the same interest in conversations in this season of our lives. We both love our husbands and they are very supportive. I just attended a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference with the sincere intention to education, inform and activate it's attendees. It hit home run after home run. I can drop some names, yet better still I WANT THEM ON MY PODCAST!!

Time to Refuel your JOY without Guilt or Remorse
This is a restoration to self - Episode from a personal standpoint. The message is so needed in that life can knock us almost out like a TKO but we must hold on to the fuel that brings us joy. Yes, as hard as it is to believe, making ourselves a PRIORITY on a regular basis will be so appreciated by the results they bring. I am so glad that I got up and kept on going, praying, and standing in the mist of my personal storm that weighed so heavy on my life that it took my voice and replaced it with tears and fear and panic. Hiding in busy did not work.
Guilt and remorse has a way of consuming us with emotions that express..."I wish I had" or if only thoughts of grieving of things, people and opportunities. BUT STOP THE PRESSES...NOW IS THE TIME to put you at the top of important people to take care of.
In this episode I share as much as I think is needed to paint the picture of how deeply the burdens of life impacted my work, health at the point of almost losing things that brought me my joy! Joy is my Strength and the Joy of the Lord is my TURBO STRENGTH!
My Life has been expressing my gratitude for all the good by giving of my talents, time and strategies. So #3lu is doing the same in this creation that invites new and seasoned fans and listeners that Introducing the - #3lu #3LU Dream Team,

Grace June Kim is an expert in her field of financial planning. Her focus is that 75% of our populations who are in the middle of the income market. In this episode, I wanted to know where did Grace's passion and fire to impact clients futures with financial wisdom came from.
Personally impressed at first site! This is where my experience and respect for Grace was quickly established. Her details and presentation opened my mind to areas I personally could use. I tried not to talk to much during this interview but what she shared hit home with me and my financial thoughts and upbringing. Grace shared that people are willing to prepare for that back up plan yet many do not have the needed information of the many options available to them. Jacqueline is meek and humble yet a powerful business woman. I admire how sharp minded she is and as I said in one of my earlier Podcast...Meek Don't Mean Weak!!
It takes courage to be who you are and wear all the hats we wear and live the dream you seek. I enjoyed the tour that you will be able to view on my You Tube Channel and see the video interview as well.
What can we learn from this amazing couple? I say believe in yourself and be yourself. Their story is much like many others who started on their way. This family working together created something wonderful that not only gave them joy but continues to create memories you will talk about for a lifetime.

There is Power in COMMUNITY-Even the Birds Do This!
In no uncertain terms, the birds taught me they have COMMUNITY!
Welcome to Leadership Legacies and Legends Unleash Podcast with your Host, Mary H Fernandez. I want to keep it real so let's get started from good old Virginia. Today's topic is all about building community and the power in community.
There is Power in community. Remember that you don't have to do life alone. I want to really drive this point home. I want to talk about a bird story. This is a true story that happened to me and their are lessons in the message.
It began one early, beautiful morning in the coolness and quiet daylight where the bugs are not out yet flying around. I stepped out my side door to a trellis where this beautiful Wisteria bush was growing. It's such a comfy cozy place on top where each year birds build their nests. This particular morning, I forgot all about the birds. About this time they would have their little baby birds in the nest and it seemed like they would have another set of babies later in the warm weather. I don't even know if it was the same family.
I shook the branch attempting to cut it. All of a sudden chaos. The birds started chirping and boom, a teenage bird fell to the ground. Those birds in their tight knit community took positions like an elite team. One bird was sweeping all around my head telling me in his loudest chirping voice. "Get back, get back. You're not welcome here." I was moving toward the teen bird because I cared and I wanted to jump in there and help, but they said no, get back. I ran into the house because they were flying around my head. I was still concerned about the teen bird. I ran around the front door to come towards the situation. But no, I couldn't even get two feet out the door before that bird was in position on my banister, chirping and fluttering his wings with another bird. "No, do not come in to this emergency situation."
Alright, so I tried a couple of times to come outside but this elite team was working together. In this bird family I quickly learned that of of them were important. I'm trying to make sure that they are okay but they made it clear no get out of the

Bridge the Gap in Communication Across Generations- Gen and Boomer Challenge
What Gap? Children of the Baby Boomers do stand out in how "we" communicate, work and think. This is not to put anyone in a box. This is to have a little fun with how great we are together at what we do when we do work together. Personally speaking, Parents proudly share their up and coming offspring as gifted and talented and starting a new adventure. They refer them with great pride. In the same sentence they may downplay who they are in their gifts and life goals.
The result of how we are defined by trends and life happenings of our times continues to change and evolve continually. (referencing Wikipedia) There are tons of misunderstood descriptions of how each generation thinks or acts or learns or communicate. We are powerful at any age and the box has been replaced with no limitations and no walls unless we choose to write off problems or issues that can occur in our differences.
Take for instance the cell phone. Who has it clued to their hands and who leaves it unattended until they feel they feel like checking it. Here is a crazy fun example.
"Mom, where are you? I am calling you? "( text message from Daughter... 10am )
( 7pm Mom replies) "Hi Honey! How are you?"
Daughter: "Why didn't you answer your phone?"
Mom: " It was in my purse and I was in the laundry room."
So you know how that conversation can go from here . Gap- in why one feels one way about something as simple as a cell phone.

My heart broke at the reports of prominent people in the spotlight and little ones and some of our everyday He'ros and She"roes who left this life in this short period, The added element that they left not by illness but by harms. It motivated me to want to remind my fellow Listeners and Voyagers on life's journey that life is a gift and there is so much more after your FIRST THERE!! Be encouraged.
Be encouraged as you listen to the journey of my mind's view of the freedom we have to continue as long as allowed by God to run this amazing race. Like time travelers we get to witness stages of our lives with our mind evolving everyday.

Leadership with a Givers Heart- Meet Michelle Ward
Michelle Ward is the Business Development/Community Relations Manager for South Bay Communications & Security which is a Communications and Electronic Security Business that designs, installs, maintains, and supports technology solutions from beginning to end. Ms. Ward is responsible for the development and implementation of a revenue growth plan and determines the most effective way to grow the company's business and the client relationship management portion.
Prior to joining South Bay Ms. Ward served as the Community Service Representative on behalf of the Florida Governmental Utility Authority which is a special purpose government that acquires, owns, improves, and operates water and wastewater utilities. Ms. Ward served 8 counties in Florida in which she created relationships with government bodies, community forums and the public. She provided a visible presence with current and potential customers and assisted with the implementation of policies, operations, and future goals of the FGUA.
A major portion of her career before moving to Florida she served the state of Virginia with her last position as the Manager of the Virginia Employment Commission covering 6 counties in the Shenandoah Valley. She directed a staff of 20 along with 2 agency partners and was responsible for strengthening the image, visibility and relationships between employers, customers, and the community in reference to employment and economic development.
Ms. Ward has over 30 years of customer service experience in the private and public sector to include areas of hospitality, municipalities, manufacturing, and technology. Ms. Ward received a BS degree in Business Management from Liberty University.
She currently represents South Bay as a member of the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, BizConnect, several local lead groups and serves on the Executive Team for Care Net Peninsula.
Michelle continues to be a servant hood leader working with youth preparing them for the workforce mindset and encouraging women to know that their skills are valuable and transferrable.

"SHE STEPS FORWARD MINISTRIES" - Reaching Hampton Roads Virginia to Africa and Back! Founder Elaine Lankford 2023 Live Event
Elaine Lankford is the founder of She Steps Forward Ministries, which was originally established as Transforming Love Ministries in 2016. SSF focuses on empowering everyday women to chase God-size dreams. By using her gifting of speaking, writing, and leadership coaching, Elaine hopes to raise up the next generation of women in ministry to be passionate mentors to women everywhere.
- As a certified John Maxwell Team member, Elaine offers her coaching services to female entrepreneurs who desire a faith-based approach to building their business, ministry, or nonprofit.
- Elaine is also the founder and executive director of She Steps Forward International, a nonprofit working to equip both American and African women to lead businesses, ministries, and nonprofits. SSFI is also giving back by doing humanitarian work in Nairobi, Kenya.
- Leadership development has been woven throughout Elaine’s personal and professional life. Prior to working directly in ministry as well as leadership/business coaching, Elaine has held many leadership roles both within the church and in her professional life.
- Within the local church environment, she has been a small group leader for over ten years, co-organized and co-lead the church’s Nicaragua missions team, and has been heavily involved within the prayer team.
- Prior to branching off into leadership coaching professionally, Elaine filled many leadership roles within her sixteen-year nursing career. Within nursing, Elaine was a top performer for seven years on the oncology unit of Obici Hospital. She then led a hospital wide quality assurance team in the area of pain management for over a year before becoming the Pain Management Coordinator for five years. Communities United- Saluting Our Heroes
Our Heroes share unique qualities that set them apart. At the same time what they do to protect and serve benefits us all. In this Episode our Host list some of those qualities and challenges each of us to make the choice to choose the Light in us over the Dark in each of us. Just in recent days we saw communities all over our country come out to honor lost Heroes that we all united to honor. They were our children in service to mankind. It did not and does not matter where they lived. Our hearts went out to each of them. We share a common thread of goodness inside. If for any reason it has been tainted, buried, or bruised Mary believes it is still alive within each of us. We have shown it over and over again how we come together in love and genuine care for each other. It's time to pick up and polish off the unsung and everyday hero in you. Leadership Lessons to use "ON SELF"
The most difficult client to lead is ourselves. This episode our Host turns the mirror on Leaders who lead themselves with some key tools and tips that will tame habits and over ride them with disciplines needed to move self and team forward. Freedom and Flexibility are not free if we don't use them on ourselves to show up as personally respectful of self as we are for mandated 9-5 opportunities. DIRT HILLS- Secrets and Adventures by Mary H Fernandez
You've heard it said- Do Not Despise Small Beginning. Keep this in mind as 3LU's host shares some secrets and adventures of dirt hills on life's journey. The gold in the Story of Dirt Hills reveals and hopes to inspire 3LU's listeners to look beyond what you see and what others may say. Time will not stand still and wait. Identify and unleash your gifts. The real you ain't done yet. It is the YOU, who you are becoming! Get out of that comfort zone! It is a good thing to-embrace change and build on what you have lived and learned. Seen any dirt hills lately? They don't keep secrets...they shout Change is Ahh-COMING!
We are not saying times were not rough. Nor are we saying it was all good. We are saying look how far we have come with the rules, restrictions and provisions we had. We made a little go a long way. Families of five, eight and ten was the norm. We used those strict rules of staying inside the sound of my voice or in eye shot of guardians and no further than one block or max two in any director work for us in years long gone.
What we gained was tools of socialization with peers. We learned to be adventurous and respect the eyes of neighbors and elders. We learned to thrive knowing we were watched or expected. Our most cunning tricks to skirt the rules did not go long unknown.
When you are going through and your parents made feeding there children and every bodies else's children seem like we were all rich when honestly they "made do" and stretched what they had. The end result was childhood. A childhood. Not every child can say that because some were parents or guardians long before their time.
3Lu's wish is that you embrace the present and learn from the joys and trails of the past. There is no better time than the present to witness change and dirt hills evolving. You are not done yet. Seen any dirt hills lately?
